Hello!!

Welcome to our blog. We thought we would start this and tell the journey of our family and trials to add our first miracle to our home. We have been married since 2003 and have been trying to conceive for about a year and a half now. We began just on our own, when that didn't work I was put on Metformin for 4 months. That did nothing, so after a few tests, I was prescribed Clomid for 3 rounds. That did work, twice, but did not result in a pregnancy. I was then referred to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. Then things just seemed to stall. I had to have several blood tests. I was then placed on Metformin again for about 2 months without the results that we wanted to see. At the beginning on July, I was placed on Letrozole. This worked. Everything worked exactly as it was supposed to. I was to go in then to have a dominant follicle scan, but I was out of town. So I was to use OPK. That showed positive, so we did what we needed to for that. It didn't work that time.

Then at the beginning of August, we were placed again on Letrozole. I was scheduled for a dominant follicle scan on Monday. I went in and had a couple of follicles, but none were big enough. The biggest one was 12 mm. I was told this wasn't big enough, to come back on Thursday. Well, today was that Thursday and I went in for my second dominant follicle scan and I had one that was 19 mm and one that 13 mm. I was given a shot of hCG to stimulate ovulation. We are hoping for the best now!!!
